2 St. James Street Mews

A really difficult development on a tight town centre site. The existing two storey shop was demolished and replaced with a well-designed modern terrace building comprising a new ground floor shop with three flats above. The rear entrance in St. James Street Mews was factorybp remodelled to allow a new access to be created to the flats in the adjoining building and six mews style townhouses were built at the rear. The total development value was £3.6M. The development won a Sussex Heritage award for Best Small Residential Development in the South East.
